A relaxed show this evening to calm the nerves of all those living in Tropical North Queensland. Cyclone Larry hit our coastline Monday and left Innisfail and parts of the Tablelands in a terrible mess. Our best wishes go out to all those affected by the cyclone and a big thanks to all the people working very hard to get everything back and running. Having no power for three days was bad enough but there are many in much worse circumstances - our thoughts are with you. My pre-cyclone soundtrack selection was Boolean Logic by artist QPE (Quiet Personal Electronics aka Kacy Wiggins)..heavy atmosphere, the calm before the storm. Actually, it could have been the last bit of music I would have heard considering a tree fell down beside the house and could have crushed me in my sleep….peace Kacy. Thanks to all those lovely people who enquired about our well-being post-cyclone. All is well now and Yun Mei will be DJing tomorrow night at Sonic @ GreenAnt Cantina along with other local electronic music producers.
